Nordic Games Reveals Their Upcoming Games

By Rebecca Smith,
Nordic Games has made quite a name for themselves since they took over a large number of THQ's IPs. Their most recent console releases include Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition Trophies, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 Trophies and Legend of Kay - Anniversary Trophies, and they show no signs of stopping anytime soon. The publisher has now detailed three of their upcoming Playstation 4 releases to arrive over 2016 and 2017.

The first is ELEX Trophies, a game previously announced back in July. The publisher revealed a shortlist of key gameplay features that players can expect from Piranha Bytes' upcoming Action-RPG, as well as a couple of new screenshots. Look out for this title some time next year.

• Sci-Fi meets Fantasy: A post-apocalyptic universe, blending Sci-Fi and fantasy elements together
• Man vs Machine: Decide for yourself which path to choose, there is no right or wrong
• 100% Authenticity: AI in the game will allow everything that happens to feel reasonable
• Epic combat system: A complex combat system & full control over your character makes you able to read your opponents
• Jetpack Frenzy: A whole new dimension of movement possibilities – full vertical exploration
• RPG true to its Name: Your decisions will change the course of the whole game

Nordic Games has also picked up the successful Kickstarter project Battle Chasers: Nightwar. In doing so, they've helped to fund all of the previously unachieved Stretch Goals from the campaign, so players can now look forward to more content, more cutscenes and full voice acting from the JRPG inspired Dungeon Crawler RPG. This title is currently aiming for the end of this year.

Their final title is a new announcement. Battle Worlds: Kronos Trophies was released on Steam back in November 2013 but will be making its way to Playstation 4 later this year. The classic turn-based strategy game takes inspiration from classics such as Battle Isle, Advance Wars and Panzer General. The game's key features include two single player campaigns that together include around 50 hours of gameplay, single player challenge maps, and both live and asynchronous multiplayer. While the following media is focused on the PC version of the title, it should give you a decent idea of what to expect in the future.

As usual, we'll be sure to bring you more information on these titles as we get it!
